Duncan's latest band pays homage to Swiss psychologist Carl Jung with songs influenced by Jung and his psychological terms/concepts. Half of all album sales benefit the organization Mental Health America as Duncan makes a social commentary on improving overall mental health.
All songs by Duncan except "Say Hey" (B. Marsalis) and Path of Light and Darkness (Rob Haight). CD includes 6 panel booklet with descriptions of songs and their connection with Carl Jung. Recorded January 19th, 2016.

about

Medium-groove tune in 7/8 that contains many lyrical themes. Path of Light and Darkness is written by former band member and extraordinary jazz saxophone player Rob Haight. It fits the theme of the album by dealing with aspects of light and darkness and how those concepts are intertwined. Again, Jung was a proponent of integrating all aspects of the personality through a process of self-awareness and self-analysis.
